Film Office property registry
The West Virginia Film Office now allows home, business or property owners to register property for potential use in film and TV productions in its online locations library. Property owners may submit their own photos for inclusion at no cost. Photos will be added to a database, and though owner contact information is required, it will not be displayed to the public.
"If a producer is interested in a property, they will contact the film office, which will subsequently contact the owner to gauge interest," said location services coordinator Jamie Cope. "It is always up to the owners to decide on a case-by-case basis whether they wish to approve filming on their properties."
