Darius Rucker tickets
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday for an April 10 concert at the WVU Coliseum in Morgantown by Darius Rucker with opening acts the Eli Young Band and Corey Smith. They are $25 and $55. 'Lombardi' in Parkersburg
The Actors Guild of Parkersburg will stage the drama "Lombardi" at 8 p.m. Friday, Saturday, Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 and 2:30 p.m. Sunday and Feb. 2 at its theater, 724 Market St.
The play takes place during one week in 1965, as the famed Green Bay Packers tries to lead his team to the NFL Championship. It's based on the book "When Pride Still Mattered: A Life of Vince Lombardi," by David Maraniss.
Tickets are $14 for adults and $12 seniors and students. On Feb. 1, there will be a pre-show Tailgate Party hosted by the WVU-Parkersburg Culinary Academy at 6:30 p.m., which is included in the ticket price.

Play Patch party
Charleston Town Center will host a princess and hero-themed party at the CAMC Play Patch on Level One beginning at 11 a.m. Saturday. The event celebrates "Disney on Ice: Princesses & Heroes," coming to town Feb. 13-16.
The first 50 children age 6 and under to arrive Saturday will receive a Disney on ice ticket voucher, redeemable for any of the Charleston shows. Also, drawings will be held at the conclusion of the party for two Disney on Ice prize packages.
Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite hero or princess. Activities include wand making, shield design and coloring.

Former World Wrestling Federation superstar Brutus "The Barber" Beefcake will be at Collectibles Etc. from 2 to 4 p.m. Saturday for an autograph signing. Autographs are $20 each.

Princeton Winter Jam
The Chuck Mathena Center in Princeton will host Winter Jam 2014 beginning at 7 p.m. Saturday. The concert, co-presented by the Princeton Renaissance Project, features local favorites Option 22, Jonathan Buckner & Chosen Road and The Furrows.

The West Virginia Highlands Conservancy will host a free lunchtime lecture during its board meeting Sunday at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore Community Center. The event features award-winning ballad singer and folklorist Saro Lynch-Thomason, who will present a multimedia project with music, images and narrative of the West Virginia mine wars of 1900-1921.
