CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A host of performers and artists are contributing work to the Aquapocalypse Service Industry Fundraiser
on Saturday, which benefits the United Way Emergency Fund
to help workers whose income was affected by the water crisis. The event
runs 7 p.m. to midnight at the Alban Theater, 65 Olde Main St., St. Albans.It features music by Michael Ari Pushkin, No Pretty Pictures, The Diablo Blues Band, Brandi Good and the Seventh Sun, Arise in Me and others acts as well as art by Jeff Pierson, Rebecca Anne Recco, Jake Fertig, Shelly Barker, Heidi Richardson Evans, Adam Eldridge, David Stephenson, Curiosities by Adrienne, Mary Almond, Ian Bode, Amber Indigo and others.Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for youth; service industry employees unable to pay the cover can contact the organizers to waive the ticket fee.
