Paisley named Distinguished West Virginian (photo)

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Brad Paisley was named a Distinguished West Virginian prior to his March 1 concert at the Charleston Civic Center. Presenting the award to the Glen Dale native were West Virginia Senate President Jeff Kessler (left) and West Virginia Music Hall of Fame director Michael Lipton (right).The Distinguished West Virginian Award honors those who have contributed significantly to the state or who have brought positive attention to it; it is the highest honor that can be given by the governor.
