CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Esquires, a mainstay of the Charleston music scene since 1963, will perform its distinctive brand of 60s-era R&B at a Super Bowl Saturday Dance beginning at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Charleston Moose Lodge 2805 Kanawha Blvd. E. Dress is "football game" casual.
The Esquires will perform from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. Randy Damron, who serves as emcee, will DJ until 7:15 p.m. as well as during band breaks, and the Dave Collins Project performs for an hour at 7:15 p.m.
Tickets are $25 and include "hearty tailgate food." Reservations are available for tables of six. Proceeds benefit the Gazette Charities Send-a-Child to Camp Fund.
