Emotions of youth
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Linda Hankins of Hurricane has published a book titled "Feel Good Anyway, Adrian's Story" aimed at youth.
Each of the paperback book's 12 chapters deal with an emotion, beginning with afraid and moving on to jealousy, worry, blame, etc. There are fill-in-the-blank pages for each emotion.
The book begins with a young boy, Adrian, who is afraid to go to school because he might flunk Spanish. His mother leaves him a note, saying it's up to him whether he feels good and suggests he tries the fill-in-the-blank flowchart.
The about the author blurb says that the author "uses sentence completion to improve feeling thoughts, so daily living seems like floating down a gentle stream."
The book is $8.99 from Amazon, and $3.99 on Kindle and Barnes & Noble Nook.
