Plager's wife Kathy Plager won third place in the red chili division.
The Plager chili dynasty didn't extend to the green chili division, which Bob Hall of Taylorville, Ill., won on Saturday.Wine tastingThe Wine Shop at Capitol Market will hold a tasting of Pinot Noir wines at 2 p.m. Sunday. Samplers will compare and contrast seven wines from three major Pinot-producing regions. Cost is $12.
