Bob Plager's chili took top honors in the red chili division of the World Championship Chili Cookoff in Charleston Sunday. Plager is from Littleton, Colo. Plager's wife Kathy Plager won third place in the red chili division.
The Plager chili dynasty didn't extend to the green chili division, which Bob Hall of Taylorville, Ill., won on Saturday.
The Wine Shop at Capitol Market will hold a tasting of Pinot Noir wines at 2 p.m. Sunday. Samplers will compare and contrast seven wines from three major Pinot-producing regions. Cost is $12. Call 304-343-9463 or email email@example.com to make reservations.
Taste-of-ALL Charleston is offering a Taste-of-FALL at some Charleston restaurants and food vendors from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 25 to 28.
