CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- This young lady is Linda. She is 9 years old and in the third grade. She enjoys doing crafts, playing with animals, playing on the computer, riding her bike, watching TV and playing pretend school at home. Some of her favorite TV shows are "Leave It to Beaver," "Lone Ranger," "Lassie" and numerous other shows on Nickelodeon and Disney.Linda has a good appetite and will try just about anything, though she does not like beans. She likes listening to music -- Justin Bieber is her favorite performer. She also likes to watch Pittsburgh Steelers football. Linda is a good student and her favorite classes are art, gym and science. She does very well in math and is a good reader -- she loves to read.Linda is attending therapy to help her address issues from her past. This will need to continue while she transitions into her home with her forever family. She would like to have older siblings in her new family.
