Charleston Convention and Visitors Bureau encourages voters to help choose Charleston's best of the best in restaurant, attraction, lodging, retail shop or boutique, dish, drink and event categories.
Favorite Restaurant - Bluegrass Kitchen, Bridge Road Bistro, Lola's, Pies & Pints.
Favorite Attraction - Clay Center, Haddad Riverfront Park, Mountain Stage, state Capitol.
Favorite Event - Charlie West Blues Fest, FestivALL, Live on the Levee, Mountain Stage.
Favorite Specialty Drink - Bloody Mary at Bluegrass Kitchen, Sangria at Lola's, Double Down Latte at Moxxee Coffee, and the beer selection at Pies & Pints.
Favorite Food Dish - Fried Feta at Adelphia, Chicken Masala at Little India, Pan-Seared Goat Cheese at Lola's and Black Bean Pie at Pies & Pints.
Favorite Lodging - Brass Pineapple, Charleston Marriott, Embassy Suites, Ramada Charleston.

Winners will be announced May 13, when a food preparation competition between area chefs similar to in style to the Food Network's "Chopped" will be held.

Ichiban sushi, sashimi and salads aren't just for dinner any more, according to Scott Miller, owner of Bar 101 and Ichiban. A select number of pre-packaged Ichiban menu items will be available from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday in Bar 101, starting April 30.
Patrons may dine in Bar 101, carry their food back to the office, or dine alfresco outside the restaurant. Prices range from $5.50 to $10 for most items.
Maggie's Salsa will offer samples of the local salsa company's newest products from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at Capitol Market. New products include chipotle cheese dip, spinach artichoke cheese dip, restaurant style salsa and mango pineapple salsa. Samples are free.
