Beach Boys to perform live at Grammys this Sunday

Oft-reclusive songwriter Brian Wilson and the rest of the surviving Beach Boys are reuniting for a Grammy Awards performance this Sunday.
LOS ANGELES -- Get the sunglasses and tanning oil out: The Beach Boys are reuniting at this Sunday's Grammy Awards for their first live performance with co-founder Brian Wilson in more than two decades.The band's last surviving Wilson brother, songwriter Brian, will be joined by longtime bandmates Mike Love, Al Jardine and Bruce Johnston, as well as David Marks, who was with the band at age 13 when it signed its first Capital Records recording contract in 1962.The other founding Wilson brothers were drummer Dennis, who drowned in 1983, and guitarist Carl, who succumbed to cancer in 1998.
The veteran California band will be joined on Sunday's Grammy telecast by award nominees Foster the People and Maroon 5 in a special performance.A news release issued Wednesday said The Civil Wars, Diana Krall and Joe Walsh have been added to the performance lineup and Common, Reba McEntire and Diana Ross will be presenters.The Beach Boys announced late last year that they would reunite to celebrate their 50th anniversary with a new album and tour.The 54th annual Grammy gala will be broadcast live Sunday at 8 p.m. on CBS.
