PARKERSBURG, W.Va. -- A Wood County judge has upheld a countywide ban on smoking in bars, restaurants and video lottery parlors.

The Parkersburg News and Sentinel reports that Circuit Court Judge Jeffrey Reed issued his decision Monday during an evidentiary hearing on a lawsuit filed by Hill House Pub of Parkersburg

Hill House had asked the court to declare the Mid-Ohio Valley Health Department's Clean Indoor Air Regulation unenforceable.
