Christian artist Paschal featured at Elk River Church of the Nazarene

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Christian singer/songwriter, author and talk show host Janet Paschal will be featured during a special musical service at 10:30 a.m. March 11 at the Elk River Church of the Nazarene. Paschal has produced than a dozen musical recordings, including her latest release, "Treasure." She has received many Grammy and Dove Award nominations. Paschal's latest radio release, "Hide Me Sweet Rock Of Ages," peaked at the No. 1 position on Southern Gospel Music's national radio airplay chart, published in "The Singing News Magazine." Born in Reidsville, N.C., she has shared the stage with presidents and is a featured artist on the Gaither Homecoming Tour. After battling breast cancer in 2005, Paschal resumed her touring schedule, including concerts, women's conferences and cancer awareness events. In November 2008, she released a book titled "Treasures of the Snow," which chronicles her battle with cancer and stories from three decades in Gospel music.
