WVU finds ways to save $12 million a year


MORGANTOWN, W.Va. -- West Virginia University has found ways to save more than $12 million a year.The savings include about $3.4 million in reduced energy costs resulting from infrastructure improvements.Other measures include changing vendors for copying services and switching to a different workers' compensation company.President James Clements told The Dominion Post that the savings are significant for a general budget of about $1 billion.
