FUTURE EVENTS:Town of Marmet: will hold its next Saturday Night Dance from 7 to 10 p.m. June 2 at the Marmet Recreation Center. The band will be Freda Cooper and The Mountain Gold Band. West Virginia Recruitment and Retention Collaborative: will hold its fourth annual 5K walk for Youth in Foster Care at 10 a.m. on Saturday at Appalachian Power Park. Check-in begins at 9 a.m. Walkers of all ages are invited to participate. Proceeds go to Mission WV and the WV R&R to fund statewide programming to connect loving families with children in foster care. Anyone interested in participating can visit or call Mission WV at 866-CALL-MWV.  Sen. Joe Manchin: will send staff members to every county in the state to hear their priorities, concerns and ideas. Staff members will be at the Hurricane Branch Library, 410 Midland Trail, Hurricane, from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. on Monday; at the Riverside Public Library, Belle, from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday; and at the Dunbar Public Library, 301 12th Street Mall, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. For a complete list of stops, visit Community-Wide Yard Sale: will be held from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday. The annual event begins 8.5 miles out Campbells Creek Drive and continues for 3 to 4 miles.
