Turn left on Fayette County Park Road. Travel 1 mile and bear left onto Shelter Road at the Y. Go 0.8 miles and turn right onto Jim Nugen Drive. Come early to help set up. Look for signs going north/south on U.S. 119 near Big Chimney. Bring swimsuits, fishing poles and your choice of food and desserts. The reunion will continue from 1 to 6 p.m. on July 1 at the Nettie Paragon home place at 1777 Queen Road, across the Queen Shoals bridge on W.Va. 4, north of Clendenin. Hot dogs will be served. David Dockery, pastor of First Baptist Church of Princeton, will give a brief talk. Music will be provided by Bucky Bauguess and Cathy. There will be a time for sharing information with author Mary Ellen Howe. Plaques will be given to oldest and youngest Bailey descendants in attendance and to the person traveling the farthest. A dedication will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. July 14 for the reconstructed Horry Bailey House. At 5 p.m. July 15, following the reunion, there will be a viewing of the marker and brief remembrance at the Richard Bailey burial site in Bluefield, Va.
