Three arrested on meth charges in Sissonville

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Police arrested three people on drug charges after officers say they found materials used to make methamphetamine in a vehicle in Sissonville.Michael Tyler Lanham, 22, of Sissonville, and Brittany Blake Cooper, 22, also of Sissonville, and Ronnie Dean Boucher, 49, of Charleston, are charged with operating or attempting to operate a meth lab, a felony.According to a criminal complaint, a Kanawha County sheriff's deputy pulled over a vehicle in Sissonville at 1:42 p.m. Sunday.
Police were preparing to tow the vehicle, which did not have registration, when they inventoried the car, according to the complaint.Police say they found a spoon with white residue, a backpack with drain cleaner, hydrogen peroxide, pseudoephedrine and aluminum foil.They also found syringes, acetone nail polish remover, and a loaded syringe that tested positive for methamphetamine, police say. Officers also found another loaded syringe and a glass pipe with white residue, according to police.The three remain in the South Central Regional Jail on $25,000 bail.
