CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Coal Resource Transportation Designation Committee and the state Division of Highways will hold a public hearing Sept. 5 on a proposal by South Fork Coal Company to add 5.5 miles of CR 10/1 and 1.23 miles of CR 39/4 in Greenbrier County and 0.94 mile of CR 29/4 in Pocahontas County to the Coal Resource Transportation Road System.The hearing will take place from 6 to 7 p.m. Sept. 5 in the cafeteria at Greenbrier West High School at 1 Cavalier Drive, Charmco. Participants can ask questions and state views and opinions on the proposal. A formal presentation by South Fork Coal Company representatives will commence at 6 p.m. Committee members and DOH personnel will also be on hand to present information and receive public input.Send writer comments to Robert L.
