66th annual Daily Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival Results

Taylor Freeland of George Washington High School was crowned Miss Kanawha Majorette 2012 at the 66th annual Daily Mail Kanawha County Band & Majorette Festival Tuesday night.
The Capital High School band plays during the 66th annual Daily Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival Tuesday on Laidley Field in Charleston. For the ninth year in a row, Capital High School was named the grand champions of the festival.
Pam Dawson cheers for her son Joey, who is in the Sissonville High School band. Dawson said she has used the sign she is holding for 12 years, since this is her third son to participate in the annual Daily Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival.
St. Albans High School band members bang on buckets that are disguised as drums during the 66th annual Daily Mail Kanawha County Majorette and Band Festival Tuesday. St. Albans High took second runner-up for the Festival Grand Champion trophy.
