TODAYThe Rubberifics stamp club will meet at 6 p.m. at the South Charleston Public Library. The Tim Holtz-inspired project will be "A Perfect Technique." Each participant can make up to 10 spritzed backgrounds and one to two fall-themed cards. Rhonda Sarcone will teach. Newcomers are welcome. Several state government agencies will be participating in the event. This year's event will feature various fundraising activities designed by individual agencies. Hot dogs, tacos in a bag, bake sale, popcorn, candy apples, 50/50 drawing, auction, pumpkin-carving contest, a pie contest and more will be featured. Entertainment will be provided by WQBE Radio. Items and food for the event are donated with 100 percent of the proceeds going to benefit the United Way and local communities.South Charleston Public Library will feature tarot readings to kick off the Halloween season from Lezah of The Psychic Eye in South Charleston. Readings will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the library, located at 312 Second Ave., South Charleston.

Proceed to Fourth Avenue and the library will be on the left as you go through that intersection.
