Wheeling fixes leak that spilled sewage into river
WHEELING, W.Va. -- A leak at a Wheeling booster station that spilled raw sewage into the Ohio River has been repaired.
Wheeling Public Works director Rusty Jebbia says the leak was minor.
Jebbia tells WTOV-TV that the coupler on a temporary pipe broke off at a Warwood booster station. A contractor was doing maintenance work on the station.
Jebbia says the leak occurred Monday and was repaired on Tuesday.
