First lady to unveil 2012 holiday ornament

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The 2012 West Virginia Governor's Mansion holiday ornament is making its debut.

First lady Joanne Jaeger Tomblin is scheduled to unveil the limited-edition ornament Wednesday at the Culture Center in Charleston.

The Governor's Office says Alum Creek artist Shelley Goodman hand-painted this year's ornament. It's the third in a series of four ornaments painted by Goodman.

The ornament will go on sale at the West Virginia State Museum Gift Shop for $24. Proceeds from the ornament sales will go to the Governor's Mansion preservation fund.
