CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- West Virginia American Water has issued a boil-water advisory for approximately 100 customers in the Peytona and Midway areas of Boone County. The advisory area includes W.Va. 3 from Hemlock Drive south to the railroad crossing, King Street, Russell Avenue, Peytona Road, Roundbottom Road, Renee Drive and Baxter Drive, the Racine Hill area and any other customers in nearby areas who have experienced an interruption in water service Monday. The advisory follows a water main break.The West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources has issued a boil-water advisory for Dameron, Arnett, Rock Creek, Dry Creek, Naoma, Horse Creek, Sundial, Edwight, Stickney, Montcoal, Birchton, Eunice, Pettus, Leevale, Jarrolds, Valley and Sandy Bottom areas of the Glen White-Trap Hill Public Service District. The advisory followed a water-main break.
A boil-water advisory has been issued for customers along W.Va. Route 3 and the Raleigh County Public Service District following a water-main break.Alpoca Water Works has issued a boil-water advisory for the entire water system in the Bud area of Wyoming County.
Customers in those areas should boil water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.
