will participate in the Point Pleasant Holiday Parade at 6 p.m. Nov. 15. The Museum will throw approximately 500 toy ducks off its float to children. Twelve marked and numbered Lucky Ducks will be included with stuffed animal prizes, sponsored by area businesses.

will have a consumer advocate from his office from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Rupert Senior Center, 1003 Greenbrier St., Rupert. The advocate will answer questions about consumer protection issues, take complaints and process free credit reports for seniors and citizens in Greenbrier County. Kanawha Trail Club
will sponsor a hike Nov. 17 on Cow Pasture Loop. Carpool at 8 a.m. from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at the Cranberry Visitors Center. The hike is approximately 7 miles on an easy trail. Wear something orange. The club will also sponsor a hike on Elk River Trail on Nov. 18. Carpool at 1:30 p.m. from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at Elkview Community Center.
