W.Va. school bus inspector nation's best -- again

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A school bus inspector in Greenbrier County has been named the nation's best at his job for the second straight year.Jack Defibaugh won the title last year and again this year from the National Association for Pupil Transportation. He was honored Wednesday by the West Virginia Board of Education.
The national competition in Rocky Mount, N.C., included a four-day skills and training competition.Testing included written exams, diagnostic troubleshooting, vehicle inspections and training workshops.West Virginia school buses travel more than 41 million miles a year, transporting about 230,000 students each day.
