Preceptor Alpha chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority will meet at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at St. Paul United Methodist Church on Kanawha Turnpike in Spring Hill. President Charlotte Bowling will conduct a short business meeting. The program will be given by hostess Ann Mays. A cookie exchange will take place. Service is containers for Manna Meals, tabs for Ronald McDonald House and magazines for the Veterans Clinic. Also, snacks for Hospice House and items for a Christmas basket.Torchbearer Alpha Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority will meet at 6:30 p.m. Dec. 17 at Canaan United Methodist Church for a covered-dish dinner. President Suzanne Patterson is hostess. Beverley Neff will discuss her vacation out west with the aid of Sandra Jo Medley. Members with Secret Sisters should bring gifts.
United Steel Workers, SOAR, will meet at 10 a.m. Dec. 19 at the local union hall below Ravenswood. Ham and turkey will be provided for Christmas dinner; bring trimmings and side dishes for the dinner. All retirees and spouses are welcome.
