The youth group is sponsoring the event. A Christmas Carol Sing will be held at the 8:30 and 11 a.m. services on Dec. 23. A Parsonage Open House (Model Train Display) will be featured at 6 p.m. Dec. 23 at 120 Brentwood Road in Nitro. A Christmas Eve Candlelight Service will be held at 7 p.m. Dec. 24 in the church sanctuary. Cross Lanes Bible Church,: 5442 Big Tyler Road, will present a Christmas musical drama with video and Readers Theatre titled "Searching for the King" at 10:15 a.m. Sunday at the church. The drama is under the direction of Mark Boyd.
Church In The Valley,: 1173 James River Turnpike, Milton, will present the musical, "All I want for Christmas is JESUS," at 11 a.m. Sunday at the church. The musical is presented by CIV's Children, under the direction of Laura Bias and Wendy Chapman. The church will feature a cantata titled "O Holy Night" at 11 a.m. Dec. 23 by the Cantata CIV Choir, under the direction of Joe Meadows, and soloists Wendy Chapman and Jayna Fisher.Charleston Baptist Temple: will present the Feast of Carols at 5 p.m. Sunday at the church. The annual performance is free. Refreshments will be served after the Christmas performance.  
Crossroads Fellowship Church,: located at 116 Pennsylvania Ave. North, St. Albans, will have a Candle Light Nativity service at 6 p.m. on Sunday. For information, call 304-722-2399.Bowles Ridge Community Church: in Liberty, will present its annual Christmas play at 7 p.m. Saturday at the church.   Metropolitan Baptist Church,: 205 Donnally St., will have a Christmas play titled "The Live Enactment of Luke 2" on Dec. 23.Spring Hill Baptist Church: will present a Christmas program titled "Good Tidings of Great Joy" at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, 4707 Ohio St., South Charleston. The program will include the Joyful Ringers, songs by young children, and a play, "No Room," by the teens accompanied by singing by the adult choir.
Riverlawn Presbyterian Church Choir: will present Lloyd Larson's "Shout the Good News," at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church, 2008 Pennsylvania Ave., St. Albans. The cantata presentation is a blend of original compositions and traditional carols with narration telling the story of Christ's birth. The choir will be accompanied by a 12-piece orchestra. An infant nursery will be provided and a reception will follow the presentation.The cantata: "Come, Let Us Worship the King" will be performed at 11 a.m. Sunday and at 6 p.m. on Dec. 23 at New Beginnings Church of the Nazarene in Pinch. The children's program "Gifts of Christmas" will be presented at 11 a.m. on Dec. 23. Riverside Baptist Church: will have a Christmas Play put on by the youth of the church at 6 p.m. Sunday at the church in Red House.
