Flags lowered in state to honor Inouye


CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Flags at state facilities are being lowered in honor of the late U.S. Sen. Daniel Inouye.In accordance with a presidential proclamation, West Virginia Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin on Tuesday evening ordered all U.S. and state flags to be flown at half-staff.
Inouye, the longest serving current member of the U.S. Senate, died of respiratory complications on Monday. He was 88.Officials say the flags be flown at half-staff until sunset on the day of Inouye's burial. Inouye's office has not yet released any details about his memorial.
