FUTURE EVENTS:Kanawha Trail Club: will have a hike Sunday at the Wallace Hartman Nature Preserve. Meet at 1:30 p.m. to carpool from Ohio and Randolph streets. Regroup at the Preserve at South Ruffner and Adrian roads. Parking is limited, and carpooling is suggested. The hike is approximately 4 miles on a moderate trail with a few steep hills.Charleston Coin Club: will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday at Kanawha City Community Center, 3511 Venable Ave. A coin auction will be held. The Charleston Parks and Recreation Department: will be sponsoring the 18th Annual Monopoly Tournament beginning at 11 a.m. on Jan. 26 at the Charleston Town Center, Center Court. On-site registration will start at 10 a.m. Space is limited. All game players must be 10 years and older to participate. There is no registration fee, however, participants are asked to bring a calculator. To pre-register, call 304-348-8008 or email cheryl.gaynor@cityofcharleston.org.Oak Hill High School HI-Y: will host a Miss Gorgeous Grandma Pageant at 6 p.m. Feb. 16 in the school auditorium. Admission is $5 at the door, with light refreshments served prior to the pageant. The pageant will consist of three portions: formal attire, talent and question and answer. A panel of local "celebrities" will judge the pageant. Any woman who is a grandmother can enter anytime now through Feb. 1. The entry fee is $10.
