John Henson Center and Putnam Aging: are selling raffle tickets for a chance to win a one-week beach vacation in Top Sail North Carolina at Saint Regis Resort. The program is being offered to all public, private and parochial schools in Kanawha and surrounding counties. Age-appropriate teaching materials are provided to kindergarten teachers. Students who learn simple flag etiquette, flag fact, and can recite the Pledge of Allegiance are presented a flag certificate and a small American flag. Teachers are given a copy of the Flag Code and a Pledge of Allegiance poster for their classroom. Kindergarten teachers who would like to participate in the program should contact Lois C.
