Blake Shelton returning to Charleston in September
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Country star Blake Shelton is coming back to Charleston on Sept. 19.
The show at the Civic Center is part of Shelton's upcoming "Ten Times Crazier" tour. The tour was announced Friday morning and is likely in support of the Grammy Award winner's upcoming, as-yet-untitled album.
The first single, "Sure Be Cool If You Did," was released to radio a few weeks ago and is already a top-10 hit on the country music charts.
Shelton will be joined on this tour by singer Easton Corbin and Jana Kramer, an Academy of Country Music nominee for best new female vocalist of the year.
The "Ten Times Crazier" Tour is scheduled to begin in July, well after Shelton completes his fourth season as a judge on NBC's "The Voice."
Shelton's country superstar wife, Miranda Lambert, will be in West Virginia a little sooner. She's scheduled to perform with Dierks Bentley Feb. 16 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington.
Ticket prices for Shelton's show in Charleston have not been announced but are expected to go on sale to the general public sometime in March.
Shelton was last in Charleston in February 2012.
