Willie Nelson and Jason Aldean make tour stops in W.Va.
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Country music legend Willie Nelson and country star Jason Aldean will both return to West Virginia in April.
Nelson will perform April 5 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena in Huntington, while Aldean is scheduled to appear at the Charleston Civic Center April 18.
Nelson, a storied singer/songwriter, actor and poet has released dozens of records, charted many hits and won numerous awards including Grammy Awards, Country Music Association Awards and American Music Awards. Some of his best-known songs include "On The Road Again," "Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain," and "Always on my Mind."
Aldean, an Academy of Country Music and American Country Award winner, is one of the biggest names in country music right now with a slew of hits including, "Hicktown," "Big Green Tractor" and his latest, "The Only Way I Know."
Joining Aldean on the Night Train tour will be Jake Owen, Thomas Rhett and Dee Jay Silver. Owen is currently on the country charts with the single "Anywhere with You," while Rhett's self-titled debut album is due out in March.
Charleston was named as part of the tour earlier this year, but specific details about when the show would actually take place were held until Monday, when they were released through the Civic Center and on Aldean's website.
Pre-sale tickets for Willie Nelson's show go on sale Tuesday morning. Prices range from $37.75 to $47.75.
Tickets for Jason Aldean go on sale Friday at 10 a.m. Ticket prices are $28.75 and $54.75.
