Doctor charged with conspiracy in Logan County

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A doctor operating a "makeshift office" in Logan County was arrested Sunday morning, according to a dispatcher for the State Police.Dr. Fernando Luis Gonzales-Ramos, 47, of El Paso, Texas, is charged with conspiracy to distribute a controlled substance, the dispatcher said.
He was taken to South Central Regional Jail.When police arrived to the building on W.Va. 10 in West Logan, Gonzales-Ramos had a "room full of patients," the dispatcher said.The U.S. 119 Drug Task Force, the State Police, the FBI and the Logan County Sheriff's Department conducted the investigation.
