'Early Spring Crops' workshopWest Virginia University Extension and ReStore will continue its gardening series with an 'Early Spring Crops' workshop from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the John L. Dickinson Family Homeowner Education and Community Center, 815 Court St. The workshop is free. Town hall meetingDelegate Tim Armstead will hold a town hall meeting from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Elk River Community Center, located at 1078 Main St., Elkview.The Gen. R.S. Garnet Camp No. 1470The Gen. R.S. Garnet Camp No. 1470, Sons of Confederate Veterans, will open their library to all the members of the camp. The list of books will be available at the next meeting held 7 p.m. March 21 at the commander's home. The books are available to paid-up members of the camp.
