Robbery reported on Charleston's West Side

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Charleston police are investigating a report of a robbery on the city's West Side Friday evening. A Metro 911 dispatcher said a man reported that someone pointed a gun at him and demanded money while he was on a pay phone at Patrick Street Plaza.
The suspect then left on foot, the dispatcher said. It was unclear if he made off with any money. The incident happened just after 7 p.m. Friday at 1801 Patrick Street Plaza.
