Eight state community projects receive state funding

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- Eight community projects in West Virginia are being funded by state grants totaling $77,800.Gov. Earl Ray Tomblin announced the funding Monday from the Growing Healthy Communities Grant Program.
The funding is for community gardens, farmers markets, local walking programs and a store featuring locally produced food.The projects are in Beverly, Kingwood, Mannington, Morgantown, Romney, Ronceverte, Sutton and Wheeling.
