Paper records shredded at ID protection event

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Better Business Bureau will host its second annual Shred Day from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. April 13 at the BBB offices parking lot at Boulevard Towers, 1018 Kanawha Blvd. E.Businesses and people may bring old credit card statements, IRS tax records, credit card offers, or anything that lists personal information to be commercially shredded at the free event. People should enter from Leon Sullivan Way and exit onto Dunbar Street.
The BBB also will collect old electronics to recycle, including batteries, cable, CDs, cellphones, circuit boards, computers, consumer electronics, game consoles, ink and toner cartridges, IT equipment, keyboards, laptops, mice, modems, monitors, MP3 players, network equipment, phone systems, printers, routers, satellite boxes, servers, speakers, switches, telecom equipment, UPS units, video games and wire.For information, visit
