Community hikeCharleston Montessori School will host a community hike at 10:30 a.m. Saturday on the Kanawha City Bike Path, beginning at 57th Street near Noyes Avenue. The flat path is stroller and bicycle-friendly. This is the fourth of 10 local hikes in the school's "Life's a Hike, One Trail at a Time" series and is sponsored by BrickStreet Insurance. Preceptor Alpha chapter of Beta Sigma Phi International Sorority will meet at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Paul United Methodist on Kanawha Turnpike, Spring Hill. President Charlotte Bowling will conduct the business meeting. Program and hostess for the meeting will be Louisa Burdette. Refreshments will follow the business meeting.
