Several boil-water advisories issued for Southern W.Va.

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Raleigh County Public Service District has issued a boil-water advisory for customers from Payson Street to Hotchkiss following a problem that occurred in the Slab Fork area.Also, the state Department of Health and Human Resources has issued several boil-water advisories throughout the state. These advisories were issued for one of the following reasons: inadequate operator coverage, lack of properly certified operator, inadequate disinfection of the drinking water, or failure to properly monitor the drinking water.Customers in the following areas should boil their water for at least one full minute prior to use until further notice.Advisories were issued for:Fayette County: Kanawha Falls Community Water Association.
Greenbrier County: Brown's Water System, White Sulphur Springs.McDowell County: 3 Way Super Stop Water System, Iaeger; O'Toole Water System, Anawalt; Jenkinjones Community Water System; and Keystone Municipal Water, Keystone.Mercer County: Weyanoke-Giatta Water System, Matoaka; Hiawatha Water Association, Hiawatha; Windmill Gap Water System, Rock; and Pinnacle Water Association, McComas.Raleigh County: Marfork Coal Slip Ridge Mine, Naoma; and Marfork Coal Co. office, Naoma.Summers County: The Village at Rock Ridge, Pipestem; and River Rest Homeowners Association, Danville.Wyoming County: Green Camp Public Service District; Herndon Community Water System; Pierpont Public Service District; and Coal Mountain Public Service District Water System.
