Pennsylvania woman sentenced for bank robbery in state
WHEELING, W.Va. -- A Pennsylvania woman will spend more than four years in prison for her involvement in a bank robbery in West Virginia.
U.S. Attorney William Ihlenfeld says 32-year-old Jessica Crawford of Marianna, Pa., was sentenced Thursday in U.S. District Court in Wheeling.
U.S. District Judge John Preston Bailey also ordered Crawford to make restitution of more than $31,000.
Crawford had pleaded guilty to bank robbery last November. The charge stemmed from a December 2010 robbery of a United Bank branch in Weirton.
Ihlenfeld says Crawford also was involved in five other bank robberies in Pennsylvania and West Virginia with Rudolph Todd Haladyna, formerly of Clarksville, Pa. Haladyna was her boyfriend at the time. He is serving a 20-year sentence for the robberies.
