Anniversaries:The City of Refuge Church, 11719 MacCorkle Ave., Chesapeake, will celebrate their pastor's 13th anniversary with a pre-anniversary service at 6 p.m. tonight. The guest speaker will be Bishop Charles Shaw, along with his congregation from Real Life Christian Center Church in Huntington. Ward Church of God is hosting a benefit gospel sing from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 11 for the maintenance of Ward Cemetery. Featured singers will be the Brighterside Quartet, Harbor Masters Quartet, Jimmy McKnight, St. Paul's Men's Chorus, Laborers Quartet, Eyes of Faith and Zamar Ministry.
