Komen of W.Va. disburses grants

CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The West Virginia chapter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure awarded more than $275,000 in grants on Monday to nine groups working on breast health projects in the state.The grants went to Cabell Huntington Hospital, Grant County Health Department, McDowell County FACES, Robert C. Byrd Clinic, The Foundation of Monongalia General Hospital, Upper Laurel Fire & Ambulance Inc., West Virginia Health Right Inc., West Virginia University Foundation-Mary Babb Randolph Cancer Center and Wheeling Hospital.
