Wyoming drug suspect's home yields guns, cash, pills
MCGRAWS, W.Va. -- Police in Wyoming County say they've confiscated 100 firearms, $580,000 in cash and hundreds of pills from the home of a drug suspect.
Sheriff Randall Aliff told media outlets that officers on Thursday found 30 firearms and $570,000 inside a safe that was seized last week from the home of Delbert Lester, 55.
Aliff said the safe was taken during a May 9 search of Lester's home in the McGraws area. At the time, no one at the home could remember the safe's combination. During that initial search, officers confiscated 400 illegal pills, $10,000 in cash and 70 weapons.
Lester is charged with eight counts of delivery of a controlled substance. He's free on $200,000 bond while the investigation continues.
