CABIN CREEK, W.Va. -- A tractor-trailer went through a guardrail on the West Virginia Turnpike and ended up over the hill near Cabin Creek Road on Tuesday. The accident happened at about 9:45 a.m., according to a dispatcher for the state Parkways Authority. The driver was heading south on the Turnpike when he hit a section of guardrail cordoned off by traffic cones from a previous wreck. The truck was hauling fertilizer, which spilled onto the roadway. Crews cleaned up debris and reopened the roadway before 2 p.m. No one was injured.
