50th Art & Craft FairRIPLEY, W.Va. -- The 50th Annual Mountain State Art & Craft Fair opens July 4 and continues through July 6 at Cedar Lakes Conference Center.More than 150 artisans will be on hand to sell and demonstrate a variety of products from wood, glass, metal and one-of-a-kind clothing to fine art and more. Each day, a variety of music and other forms of traditional Appalachian entertainment will be performed at multiple locations on the fairgrounds.Families activities include interactive artisan booths, storytelling and drawing workshops for children, an authentic cornmeal grinding mill and working sawmill.Food choices encompass hot buckwheat cakes, barbecue, roasted ears of corn, beans and corn bread, apple dumplings, blackberry cobbler, homemade ice cream and kettle corn.
