McGraw family: 11 a.m., July 21, at Southern WV Community and Technical College's Wyoming County campus in Saulsville. Family and friends of the descendants of John McGraw and Mahalia Cozort-McGraw who settled in the Wyoming County community now known as McGraws are invited to the 60th annual reunion. Bring memorabilia and a potluck dish that has been handed down through the family, along with the recipe. A 60th Anniversary cookbook is being planned. Lunch will be served at 1 p.m. Door prizes and prizes will be given. A short memorial service will honor family members who have been lost since last year's reunion. Sissonville High School Class of 1993: Aug. 3, at the Clubhouse at Power Park and Aug. 4 at Coonskin for a family picnic. The cost for both events is $50 per person. Elk Creek Community: 10 a.m., Aug. 3, Verner Church picnic grounds. Bring a covered dish and old pictures. A picture book will be for sale.
Dehue community and family reunion: Aug. 9-10 at Dehue Chambers Grade School. Schedule: 5 p.m., Aug. 9, registration, refreshments and fellowship will be followed by a sock hop with DJ Randy Justice, playing the oldies. At 10 a.m. on Aug. 10, the annual picnic will be held. Bring favorite foods and drinks to share. A brief memorial service will also be held. The Logan High School Class of 1962 is invited to join their classmates at the 28th annual reunion.
