Hillside excavation closes W.Va. 10 in Logan County

MAN, W.Va. -- An excavation project has closed a section of W.Va. 10 in Logan County for 90 days.The section runs from Dabney to Man.Bizzack Construction, LLC of Lexington, Ky., has been excavating a hillside along the road.
Transportation Secretary Paul Mattox says the hillside is becoming increasingly unstable. It's no longer safe for traffic to move through the work zone.A detour has been set up. Vehicles will take Rum Creek Road at Dabney, travel about 12 miles to Buffalo Creek Road, and then take Buffalo Creek Road 5 miles to W.Va. 10 at Man.
