Baby ejected from vehicle in Clay County I-79 crash
BIG OTTER, W.Va. -- Paramedics took an 11-month-old girl to the hospital after she was thrown from a car crash in Clay County on Friday.
The wreck occurred just after 5 p.m. along Interstate 79 North between the Big Otter and Servia Road exits. Clay County 911 dispatchers said the child was flown to CAMC General Hospital in critical condition.
Police are interviewing the child's mother and alcohol is thought to be a factor in the crash, dispatchers said.
