Threat against Harrison magistrate investigated
CLARKSBURG, W.Va. -- Authorities are investigating a threat made against a Harrison County Magistrate.
Harrison County and state police say a suspect threatened to detonate a bomb at Magistrate Frank DeMarco's home and to come after the magistrate at the Harrison County Courthouse.
Sheriff Albert Marano tells The Exponent Telegram that security at the courthouse was increased Friday. No bombs were found.
No arrests have been made.
The sheriff declined to provide further details.
Marano says Clarksburg police, state police, Shinnston Police and the U.S. Marshals Service are investigating.
