Body found beneath car in Raleigh County
BECKLEY, W.Va. -- State Police troopers have identified a woman whose body was found underneath an abandoned car earlier this week in Raleigh County.
Troopers with the Beckley detachment discovered the body of Deborah Dalton, 51, of Lanark, underneath an abandoned car on Easton Street, in the Harper Heights area near Beckley, at about 6 p.m. Monday, according to State Police spokesman Sgt. Michael Baylous. Dalton's body was sent to the state medical examiner, who determined she was shot to death, Baylous said. State Police are treating the death as a homicide. Baylous said the shooting appears to be drug-related
