Kanawha deputy bumps into vehicle with cruiser
CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- A Kanawha County sheriff's deputy was involved in a wreck Friday in Charleston.
Cpl. Brian Humphreys, of the Kanawha County Sheriff's Department, said Deputy R.D. Meadows was driving a Ford Interceptor police cruiser at about noon when another car apparently pulled in front of him at the intersection of California Avenue and Kanawha Boulevard in Charleston.
No one was hurt in the collision. Humphreys said Charleston police and the Sheriff's Department are investigating.
